This time I want to be brief

In expressing my sorrow and grief

Help me get over this belief

And get my soul some relief

I once got myself into a strife

And It was like the stab of a knife

I was almost parting with my life

Were it not for the love of my wife.

Thanks be to God am alive

Through the strife I did survive

He really helped me to revive

And here I come with a drive

That has helped me safely arrive.
